On the Home Stretch

We are definitely heading toward the finish line. Hip hip hooray!

All of the appliances are in and again, I am so thankful to Jenn-Air and can not wait to use everything. Especially looking forward to the wine refrigerator! Haha

The lighting is also in and almost all of the plumbing is too. The majority of my lighting is from Visual Comfort, including these island pendants with seeded glass.

We are really watching the budget as we near the end. I wanted Lucite handrails, but ended up with wood because of a big cost difference. I like the wood graining so we are going to whitewash it and let the grain show through as opposed to painting. The stair landing and risers still need to be finished.

I am loving the way this Arteriors pendant casts the light in my stairwell. I bought it on sale almost two years ago thinking it would work in my powder room or the stairs. Happy it worked!

I also love the way this Visual Comfort pendant casts light and am happy I decided to paint the powder room gray. (Benjamin Moore Chelsea Gray) The mirror was another sale find. It’s from Wisteria. I have a big cockatoo painting for this room. Hope it looks as fun as I am envisioning.

Finally, the master bath lights are from Aiden Gray. When I saw them at market, they made me think of sea creatures. The wood seemed like a nice contrast to the tile. I love seeing 4 of them instead of 2 because of the mirror!

These final three weeks will be a big push and shortly I will have many more photos, including one of my awesome builder and his team!
