Progress Report

Of all the decisions, I’ve made for Given House, the one I was probably the most nervous about was my outside paint color, so watching it go on was a little scary. My heart wanted a white farmhouse, but the practical part of me knows this color, Benjamin Moore Wythe Blue, won’t need power washing quite as quickly as the white would have. I wasn’t sure I loved it, until all the trim was painted white, but I’m very happy with it now and know it will look even prettier with landscaping. 

We are tweaking the front door so it lines up with all the transoms. I’ve done several sketches and will post the finished product once it’s completed.

While the outside was being painted, all the trim work was started inside.

I am so happy with the progress on Given House. See proof below as I am giving my doors a big kiss!
